:: orientation ::
haha... now that orientation is over... got alot of time to blog already... haha... acjc orientation is really living up to its reputation of being the best orientation in town... haha.. it was super fun and super cool lor.... the OGLs were so energetic and so lively, it realy rubs off onto us and we end up enjoying ourselfs... even ppl who go in with a negative impression like me has got a total 180 turn in impression... its so good.... i might consider staying on already... haha...
the first day was like crap la... cos we all dunno each other and the ice breakers were not exactly working... but nonetheless, the OGLs still managed to liven up the mood with all the cheering and the introduction... it was damn pro of them.. haha...
the second day was much better... everyone was more enthu and we learnt the first dance of the mass dance... it is this super dance... accompanied with the music with the title, pon the replay... its super fantastic... haha... then we played some games in the field and got ourselves muddy and stuff... but still enjoyed myself throughly....haha... also wiped mud on eugene soo and wanted to do the same to daryl... but he ran away and i wasnt wearing shoes.. haha... but its still damn fun la.. haha...
the third day, we learnt the second part of the mass dance... it goes with the song, black and white... another michael jackson production... but the dance steps are so totally original... really got to appluad them... haha... after that, we had this cca orientation and we got to choose our ccas... kinda signed up for almost every cca booth there...haha... but in the end.. decided to try out swimming, golf, shooting and guitar... haha... ok... we had this cca orientation in the badminton hall... which is just beside the two olympic sized swimming pools in the school... so cool right.. haha.. ya.. so after the cca orientation, we threw hazel and eugene into the pool... haha... it was kinda bad cos the water polo guys were like training and we were kinda interrupting... but they didnt mind so what the heck... haha.. wanted to throw wei jie inside too but he siamed too quickly... haha... will do so another time... haha...
the fourth day, it was the finale already... but we had our og time before the camp fire... so they actually wanted to come to my house.. but then i found out that the multi purpose hall was under renovation... so bad luck man... haha... went to lily's house instead... and her house was super cool... got six stories... imagine that... haha... and we played games like heart attack there and watched movies there... she has this huge pile of collections there... haha... then went to the roof garden and enjoyed the view there... haha... after that, we made our way back to acjc for the camp fire.. it was really great... they tied this rope into the shape of ac and the wound it with sparklers... so when the light up the camp fire... it sort of burnt and was sparkling everywhere... simply magical... haha... but after a short while, it started raining... so we went to the badminton hall and we watched a slide show of our orientation... did i mention that we saw two rainbows too... simultaneously in the same sky... haha... sort of reminded me about God's promise to noah. just that it would double fold on us... ya... the whole orientation was simply out of this world man.. its just too good to be true... haha.. the we had this mass dance... couldnt find my partner so i paired up with lily instead.. then for the second dance i danced with ester... haha... then they dismissed us and we could go home... but i danced away with yeow an instead... haha...
the whole orientation was really great... of course... many thanks to the OGLs and the student council who used the whole holidays to plan it... THANKS ALOT for giving us such a great time!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!
