:: after the exams! ::
those that are viewing my blog... sorry that i have not updated it cos i was very busy due to sports heats and the mid years.... but now i m back! hahas...
today i just finish my mid years... heard from zm that they are going to be counted if you do badly for your prelims... so was mugging away and "eating the books up"... hahas.... so lame.... but thats how it was... studying and studying and studying.... i sort of enjoyed it though.... cos i dun need to go for gym... speaking of which i still have not written the excuse letter... tsk tsk.... pre-planned ponning.... but thats life in gym anyway.... dunno if i can still go for com.... was not intending to go but it will be a bonous to go lar.... hahas...
went to watch a movie after the mid years to relax.... but ended up watching a nc-16 show instead... it was really good... its titled " kingdom of heaven"... the setting was in 1819... when the people still use swords and the hammer to knock down the city gates.... really made me appreciate how much tech we have now....
the movie was about this catholic knight that went sleeping around with other women and ended up having a illegitamate son.... twenty years later, he went back to find his son and brought him back to jeruselm.... however, on the way back, he was waylaid and was killed by serious injuries. before he died, he knighted his son and asked him to go back to jeruselm to serve the king.... however, the king was a leper and died not long after the kingdom was being attacked. i felt this part was very inspiring as this king did not care for his own health and went to make peace with the enemies instead. it suddenly occurred to me that this is what a true king should do for his people. and in the process, he died. that drove the message in even deeper. after that, the king that succeeded him declared war on the enemies despite being warned not to as the army will die of thirst but he carried on. the whole army was killed this way. fortunately, this illegimate son of the knight vowed to protect the people and stayed behind. he then made preparations as he predicted that the enemy will attack the city. this preparations then saved the people in the later part of the story.
it dawned on me that no matter how unknown a person is, how unused the person is, he can still be used by God in his plan. this movie has made a impact on me, teaching me to help those that are needy and to protect those who are helpless. of course, i will need God's wisdom to guide me.
